Calling all LEGO fans! It’s time to experience ghoulish fun at LEGOLAND NY’S Brick or Treat 2024!

LEGOLAND NY has unleashed it’s annual (and popular) Brick or Treat event and it really has Spooooooky F-U-N in store for the entire family!

Monster Party Event Highlights

At this year’s Brick or Treat, get ready to experience:

• Live Entertainment and shows
• Limited time attractions
• Character Meet & Greets
• LEGO Build Activities
• and of course tons and tons of CANDY!!!

While walking through the park during this event, you will see many decorations to get you in the Halloween spirit. The park really outdoes itself creating a really fun Halloween atmosphere without it being scary at all.

Themed Zones

This year’s Monster Party entails themed zones where visitors can meet fun characters, watch captivating shows, participate in Halloween activities all while collecting candy. Here are some deets for each zone.

Monster Boulevard in LEGO CITY

• Lord Vampyre is hosting an exclusive dance party just for V.I.M.s (Very Important Monsters) It’s spooktacular fun you won’t wanna miss!

• Watch The Great Monster Chase in 4D at the Palace 4D Cinema

• Catch the interactive Operation Monster Squad Show to release your frightful dance moves!
• LEGO Pumpkin Build-Build your own pumpkin using LEGO bricks and add it to the cool, giant pumpkin patch.

Creatures Of The Kingdom at LEGO CASTLE

• Monster Rocker Meet & Greet- select a song and jam out in the studio with Monster Rocker
• Spider Attack Build activity where you can build some eerie creepy crawlers and add them to the giant spider web
• Candy Station from 2-6pm; Outside the Dragon Rollercoaster and next to Dragon’s Apprentice

Graveyard of Ghouls Nature Trail

• Create your own magical potion using LEGO bricks and add your wicked brew to the Wacky witch’s cauldron
• Join tryouts at the Zombie Cheer Show – the Zombie Crew will be showing off their frightening good cheers and dance moves (you don’t wanna miss this high energy show with Zombie Cheerleader!)
• Mummy Meet & Greet
• Check out sugary concoctions inside cauldrons on Wicked Sweet Way along the Nature Trail
• Candy Stations from 2-6pm; Top of Nature Trail and Bottom of Nature Trail

LEGO Creator Mystic Witch 3 in 1

Scavenger Hunt

Have your kids partake in the LEGO Fortnite scavenger hunt and help locate the Fortnite villagers hiding around LEGOLAND NY Resort. Answer clues hidden around the park to find the villagers! Then bring your finished card to customer service for a surprise!

Face Painting

Check out the face painting booths in Bricktopia and LEGO CASTLE. Designs include Wolfman, Skull, Spider Mask and more!

Specialty Treats

Enjoy seasonal treats around the park such as Haunted HodgePodge Funnel Cake, Goblin Toes and The Brick Rib. See our photo below for offerings.

Exclusive Halloween Merchandise

Stop by The Big Shop at LEGOLAND NY to check out special Halloween themed LEGO Building sets, dress up costumes, themed keychains, Brick or Treat t-shirts and more. And if you can’t make it to the Big Shop there, you can still fill Halloween goody bags for the kids with fun sets like LEGO Spooky Halloween VIP Building Pack, or this LEGO minifigures D&D 6 pack or this Single LEGO minifigure pack. Should Kids Wear Costumes To Brick Or Treat?

Absolutely! While walking through the park, kids and grown ups were in Halloween costumes, ready for all the fun. Candy stations opened at 2pm and our kids decided to partake in activities and shows then put on their costumes right before starting to trick or treat. I would say definitely come in / with a costume. You would not be alone! Some favs we saw included LEGO witch, LEGO UniKitty, LEGO Batman and Lloyd from NINJAGO. If your little ones aren’t into full on costumes, I found these plush robe costumes that are really fun too; this one comes in red or green.

Final Spine Chilling Thoughts

As a family, we visited on a Sunday and Monday mid October Fall weekend. The Sunday was definitely busy with most of the parking lot filled, however Monday was only half filled in the parking lot. In our group we had 4 adults and 3 kids ranging in age of 6, 7.5 and 8.5. The kids had a blast checking out the Brick or Treat activities and shows and of course really had a great time trick or treating. We spent one day on trick or treating and the second day on rides. When I asked our 7.5 year old what her favorite parts of visiting LEGOLAND NY’s Brick or Treat were, she responded the Zombie Cheer Crew Live Show and the trick or treating. There were 7 Candy stations set up both days we went handing out candy if you had your own bucket or handing out candy filled LEGOLAND Halloween trick or treat bags if you didn’t bring your own candy bucket. This year’s sponsors were GOGO Squeeze and Haribo. Candy included Haribo gummies, GOGO Squeeze sauce pouches, M&M’s, Milky Way, Starburst and Laffy Taffy. Always be mindful to check the candy if your child has allergies.

Currently, there are 2 weekends remaining to experience ghoulish fun at LEGOLAND NY’S Brick or Treat. So go with the family and enjoy! LEGOLAND NY is geared for 2-12 year olds however, I think one has to guage how much interest his or her child has for LEGOS, amusement parks, building etc. I do feel the 2-12 year old is a good range. Everyone in our group had a great time.
