Welcome to our first Back From The Stacks post! Here we head to some of our favorite libraries and check out what’s exciting to read from the library stacks. Picture books, nonfiction, chapter books, encyclopedias, biographies, poetry, we like to check things out. And share with you! Why you ask?
One, it’s super fun for kids (and even adults) to explore. Reading is powerful. It can take us to places never imagined! It empowers our minds and connections.
Secondly, exploring different libraries allows us to visit new neighborhoods, meet new people and cultures. In finding cool places to eat and supporting local businesses, we get to try new foods, flavors and the grown ups favorite, locating the perfect coffee place to have a cup, plop down and just read. LOL
