To celebrate Christmas, we’ve made a decorate and create your holiday unicorn Christmas scene. Who doesn’t love Christmas holidays and unicorns???!!!
On 2 pages, you will find elements to dress your unicorn in like hats, scarves and nice rugs to stay warm on. After dressing your unicorn, you will find ornaments, presents and a Christmas tree to decorate around. If your little ones are old enough, let them cut out the elements and create their very own unicorn Christmas holiday scene on construction paper or cardstock.
This holiday activity is terrific for improving fine motor skills and coordination, improving visual skills, promoting creativity, independence and imagination. In addition, they’re perfect for doing together during the holidays, on playdates as well as on a rainy day. Best of all, this requires little preparation, just some construction paper or cardstock, scissors, drawing and coloring tools, such as pencils, crayons, markers, gel pens and a glue stick.
We added basic elements like a tree, ornaments, presents, and a mantle to hang stockings on, however feel free to draw and add your own holiday decorations! Create a scene, imagine a story and continue building on the activity!
Our daughter wanted to add more presents under the Christmas tree so she drew and colored in more. It can be as simple or intricate as your kids like.
My daughter helped choose and design the pages and couldn’t wait to cut out the elements. She dressed her unicorn, created a holiday scene and immediately hung it on her wall in her nook.
